NOT FRAGILE - Yesterday's Heroes CD

The label says "fantastic new tracks, rerecordings and great cover versions!" Indeed this CD of 14 tracks would make for a great soundtrack to a metal party, with some Not Fragile originals, new and old, mixing it up with some pumped up (Not Fragile style) classic hard rock and metal songs. At the end of the listening experience, I can only say that the Not Fragile originals are the main attention getters here, outclassing the "big name" bands they cover. A good stopgap CD that calls to attention the need for more new Not Fragile recordings -- one of Germany's unsung heroes when it comes to traditional power metal.
