MORBID ILLUSION - In The Crypt of the Stifled CD

Death metal band Morbid Illusion was formed in Uppsala, Sweden in the early 2012 by Jesper, Andreas, Isak and Arvid, after having played with eachother for about a year, using other band names and playing different genres. They recorded and released a demo in 2012, played some shows in their hometown, but it wasn't until 2015 they felt they really found their sound and style of death metal, more american sounding, with a heavy emphasis on blast-beats, rather than a more "swedish" sound. During the summer of that year, they recorded the EP "Embellished with Blood", and released it by themselves online. After playing some festival- and pub gigs during 2016, they started working on their first full length album, which was recorded during the first half of 2017, entitled "In the Crypt of the Stifled", and is set to be released by Immortal Souls Productions in the early 2018.
