PROTESTANT - as dead as we look CD

A bone crushing onslaught of raging thrash meets moody crust marks this re-mixed and remastered collection of early works from Milwaukee's PROTESTANT. Include are thier songs form their LP, their split 7" with RHINO CHARGE and their 2005 demo CD-R. While PROTESTANT plays what is easily catoegorized as what is now being called "Neo Crust," their style is much less formulaic and reminds one of the mid 90's pioneering days, when 2nd generation European crust bands like AMBUSH, ABC DIABOLO and HIATUS were first pushing the style forward. Another fine example of the renewed vigor that has energized the eastern Wisconsin scene druing the last couple of years, after being delcared officially dead in the late 90's and early part of this decade
